Yeah, I think I'm the only one playing it who hasn't played it before, but if you haven't played it you should because i like it so far
i'm about to fight the executioner at the colloseum, but time is short for me so it might go slowly

I can't beat any of the people with bounties on them that you have to seek out. Are you supposed to wait a long time before you fight them, or is there a trick to beating them? It's getting frustrating that I can't beat Rupee Larso or that Vize guy who ruins my good name.

Ooh, sorry. Well... I advise not to fight any of the bounty battles, at least not right away. They are extremely difficult, and I think they get better as you do, so they will always be hard.(I think.) But, if you hate having that "Fallen Pirate" rank, as I did, you can challenge Vize and his gang. I would suggest waiting until you have many, if not all of the spells between your entire party, as well as the good Supers. I also suggest using the item that fills up your party spirit to full. It's a rare item, but It can help you unleash Pirate's Wrath or one of your awesome Crew Supers. If you die, restart, and ummm... Good luck. Vize is the only one I beat before I was really supposed to, I think. Tell me about any other problems you encounter, because that boss sure is frustrating.
As for the other bounties, I've beaten a few now, if I remember. I'm not sure the prizes are really worth the effort and rare items you have to use to beat them.
P.S. - I'm not sure how many of these there are in the game, but you ight consider using an item called 'Aura of Valor' during the battle-- it'll fill your spirit bar, which comes in very handy. I only found 2 in my game, so they're pretty rare. I'd suggest using one here and one on Ramirez in the final battle.
